Founder Zak Best spent years behind the wheel as a professional race driver, where a fraction of a millimetre can be the difference between winning and losing. That same obsession with precision now goes into every ZBR tiny home.

Building runs in the family. Zak grew up around it through Best Leisure Industries, building sheds, and Best Lifestyle Units, building prefabricated homes, and spent years working hands-on in that trade before laying ZBR's first chassis. That background shaped ZBR's approach from day one: build with genuine Australian steel, as licensed master builders, using licensed trades, and never cut a corner to save a dollar.

That philosophy shaped our first model, The Panarama, a name that carries Zak's motorsport roots into everything we build, and a reminder of the standard every ZBR home is held to.

We're based in Benalla, where every home is built by hand from the ground up — steel chassis, frame, insulation and fit-out, all under one roof, all Australian made.
